Super wanted to transform online shopping with a new way to pay and shop that benefits both the seller and shopper.
The ambition was to use Open Banking to pass on the transaction fee savings to the customer and drive increased sales for the merchant through the Super app.
Our approach
From the initial idea, we researched and designed a fintech concept. Understanding the needs and attitudes of both audiences was key in validating the idea, providing evidence of the market need which attracted $30m in VC funding.
Once funding was secured, we took Super on the journey from concept to market in less than 6 months.
We defined the product strategy for Super from both the merchant’s and consumer’s perspective and designed, tested, and iterated the solution.
Once we launched Super, we then looked to build their internal capabilities so they could continue to grow and evolve the product.
Outcome
Super has attracted over 1,000 merchants to sign-up to the payment solution.
Consumer numbers continue to grow with over 500,000 users to date.
